My name is, Joel T. Benton. I enjoy writing, playing music, weightlifting and spending quality time with my family and friends. I am a published author, musician and writer and voice over artist. I wrote the fantasy-adventure novel, S.H.A.E., which was published in 2004. I play guitar and bass and am currently the bassist for the band, Shattergrind. I enjoy helping entrepreneurs and companies with their voice over needs (click here for samples) and I also do volunteer voice work for GaRRS. I have been a real estate appraiser for most of my adult life, but have always had a need to be creative. I decided to start this blog to serve as yet another creative outlet to share some of the many thoughts and ideas I have rattling around within my head, as well as to act as sort of a self-help guide to life; exploring the many issues we all can be faced with from time to time in this modern day.
